Directions for completing the last section of your Maya Inspiration visual map.
READ CAREFULLY!
Look carefully at the following image. This is an example for how you should arrange and complete this section.
Refer to the image above, use your Maya Artifact and Codex Project Google doc (your shared team doc) and follow the steps below to complete this section:
1. Find an image that represents your social group. Then title it under the image in the text box that is attached to the image with the name of that group.
2. Create a basic text box (the same way we have been doing) and copy and paste question number 2 with BOTH the question and the answer into the text box.
Repeat this process for questions 3-6.
HOWEVER, BEFORE you do the text box for Question #6, "What did the Maya eat?" arrange the food items into the table I will help you to place into your document. Then copy and paste each list into the text box. Work together to arrange the food items under the appropriate heading. DO NOT make a bulleted list, but rather, put a comma after each food item for a paragraph style list. If you were absent, your teammates will have already done this. See the example below:

3. Next, copy and paste the following "How do we know?" information into a text box with the same name.

Archeological evidence and artifacts, ancient Mayan hieroglyphics and paintings, knowledge of the geography, climate and the indigenous species of the area and knowledge of traditional practices handed down to present-day Mayans.
